By morning it had cracked open, and a man with gold eyes was standing on your street, telling you that you had woken him. Zarek is the last dragon king, asleep for a thousand years. Now he follows you everywhere at a careful distance, learns the modern world one baffling thing at a time, and has never once crossed your doorstep without being asked.
