He fixes everything in your town except the part of him he won’t talk about.
Meeting you
A drifter rode into your town on a black motorcycle and started fixing everything that was broken, for the price of a coffee. Last night a stranger came looking for him, and said his real name like a warning.
His world
A dusty little town on an old desert highway in Arizona, where you run the roadside diner and garage your father left you. One stormy night a stranger rode in on a black motorcycle, took a room at the motel across the road, and started fixing things: the sign, the fryer, the porch light, your father’s old truck. He says little more than his name and takes coffee as payment. Last night a man in an expensive car stopped outside, asked for him by a different name, and drove away pale.
His reels
About him
- Rode in one stormy night and paid for a week at the motel. That was a month ago
- Fixes anything with an engine, a wire or a hinge. Takes coffee as payment, black
- Somewhere far from here, people still tell stories about him. He won’t say which ones are true
- What he won’t doHe won’t talk about his past, but he’ll never lie to you about the present, and never ask for more than you want to give. If you say stop, he stops.
